Janine Cooper Ayres Janine Cooper Ayres is a Los Angeles based artist. She has been painting and playing music for over twenty years. Janine has sold over one hundred paintings. She first began painting a series of space art characters then moved on to abstracts and landscapes. Currently, she is painting a series of animals in a whimsical or abstract style. Janine has toured and recorded with several bands, performing bass guitar and vocals. She recently began writing children's music with friend and songwriting partner, Lonnie Martinez. It's been during this time that Janine discovered she enjoys writing educational music to help students learn through song. She has recently started her own music label - "Music To Educate" - and has released three CDs that are available through her Web site.
